About the Artist

Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Sophie found her creative roots early, leading her to pursue a BFA in Studio Art at the Lamar Dodd School of Art at The University of Georgia. Now, she resides in Marin County with her husband and daughter, creating from her sunlit studio by the water’s edge in Sausalito.

Sophie’s work flows from a connection to the natural world, inspired by the dramatic landscapes of Northern California. She channels the rhythm of the coast into her pieces, capturing moments of light and shadow that evoke a sense of grounding calm.

Sophie’s art can be found through Well & Wonder Artist Collective and The Gallery at The Ranch in Fairfax, CA, where each piece offers a tranquil escape, inviting you to experience the quiet beauty of nature.
